Make  a cookbook even more helpful with the addition of a bookmark, a pencil  holder, and an envelope to collect notes and recipes. For the pencil  holder, use white craft glue to attach 1 1/2-inch-wide grosgrain ribbon  horizontally across the middle of the book’s inside back cover. Then  place a pencil on top of the ribbon, and glue the ribbon back onto  itself, creating a loop. Next, glue a portion of a narrow ribbon along  the spine edge of the inside back cover, leaving enough hanging free to  tuck between pages and dangle out the bottom.
